Terms of Service

Interim terms · Effective 20 July 2026 · applies during the VisualEyes live pilot.

These terms cover using VisualEyes — whether you're a person signing in with your photos, or a website offering "Sign in with VisualEyes" to your users. They're written to be read. Questions: legal@aqa.com.

Who provides the service

VisualEyes is provided by AQA, an early-stage venture whose operating company is being incorporated with its intended seat in Ireland (EU). When incorporation completes, these terms will be reissued in the company's name; your rights under them will not be reduced by that change.

The service is a live pilot

VisualEyes is real and live, and protects real accounts — but it is a pilot, not a finished public product. Features may change, capacity is limited, and occasional interruptions are more likely than they will be at general availability. We run the pilot carefully, and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Whose stuff is whose

Your photos remain yours. You grant us only the narrow licence needed to operate the service: to store them encrypted, transform them for display inside your own login challenges, and delete them on schedule. The VisualEyes software, service, and brand are ours; the WordPress plugin and the published integration code samples are provided for integrating with VisualEyes.

What we can do

We may suspend or close accounts and client integrations that break these terms, attack the service, or put other users at risk — immediately where safety requires it, with notice otherwise. We may change or discontinue pilot features; if we ever discontinue the service itself, we will give enrolled users and clients reasonable notice and honour the deletion promises in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

The pilot is provided "as available", without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the pilot service is limited, for client sites, to the credits purchased in the previous 12 months, and for individual users, to €100. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud — and nothing reduces mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and disputes belong to the Irish courts — except that if you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer-forum rules, you keep the protections and courts of your home country.

Changes

These are interim terms for the pilot. We'll announce material changes on this page — and to enrolled users and registered clients by email — before they take effect. Continuing to use VisualEyes after a change takes effect means you accept it.

These terms are published in all languages the site supports. If a translation ever differs from the English text, the English version controls.
